How to Add or Claim Your Brownbook.net Business Listing

Step 1: Create Your Account


Before you can add or claim a listing, you need to create a Brownbook account. Head over to Brownbook.net/register and click “Create an account.”


Here’s what you’ll do:


  • Enter your details: Fill out the required fields with your name, email, and a secure password.

  • Validate your account: After clicking "Create an account," you’ll see a yellow banner asking you to validate your email. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the activation link inside.

  1. Start your listing: You’ve got two options here. Click the “+” sign at the top right of the page or select “Add a business” from the drop-down menu under your name. Both get you to the same place.

  2. Enter your business details: Fill out all the relevant information about your business. The more details you provide, the better your listing will perform. Be thorough.

  3. Add your business: After filling out the required fields, tick the “I’m not a robot” box and hit “Add.” Your listing will start appearing on Brownbook almost immediately.

  4. Claim your listing: Once your page is live, you’ll see an option to “Claim this listing for FREE.” Click it. Confirm your claim, and you’re all set.


Step 3: Manage Your Listing


You’ve got your listing—now it’s time to manage it.


  1. Find your claimed businesses: Head to “My Account” from the drop-down menu under your name and click on “My Claimed Businesses.” This is where you’ll find all the listings you’ve claimed.

  2. Edit your listing: Click on your business name, then select “Edit” from the menu on the left. Here, you can update details, add more content, and keep your listing fresh.


Step 4: Claim an Existing Listing


If your business is already on Brownbook, you’ll need to claim the listing to manage it.


  1. Search for your business: Go to Brownbook.net, select your country from the top bar, and search for your business.

  2. Claim the listing: If your business appears in the results, check if it’s unclaimed. Click “Is this your business?” or open the profile and select “Claim Listing” from the menu on the left.

  3. Confirm your claim: Enter your full name and confirm that you’re the rightful owner. Congratulations—you’ve claimed your listing!
