We created two types of landing pages: one that showcased user-generated reviews and one that just declared the business as “dependable.” The results were eye-opening.


83% of participants found the business with user-generated reviews to be trustworthy. In contrast, a significant portion of people found the “dependable” business without reviews to be untrustworthy. This isn’t just a statistic; it’s a wake-up call for any business looking to enhance their online presence.


Boosting Contact Rates


But let’s dig deeper. Did these reviews actually prompt potential customers to reach out? You bet! 74% of respondents said they’d be likely to contact the business that displayed customer reviews, compared to just 62% for the one without. This clearly shows that trust leads to action. People want to do business with brands that other customers endorse.


Optimizing Your Landing Pages


This is where your landing pages can really shine. By integrating authentic customer reviews, not only do you establish credibility, but you also encourage conversions. Think about how you can structure your landing pages:


  1. Feature Reviews Prominently: Don’t hide your best reviews; showcase them. If you have a glowing testimonial, slap it front and center.

  2. Use Real Images: A picture is worth a thousand words. Include images of happy customers alongside their reviews to humanize your brand.

  3. Create a Trustworthy Atmosphere: Ensure your landing pages are designed to foster trust. Clean layouts, clear calls to action, and easy navigation are key.
